Robin Ince
Robin is now predominantly known as a science populariser and pioneering comedian behind hugely successful live events such as The Book Club, School for Gifted Children and9 Lessons and Carols for Godless People. He presents Infinite Monkey Cageon Radio 4 with Brian Cox which recently won theSony Gold Award.
For stand up he has won three Chortle Awards, the Time Out Outstanding Achievement Award and was nominated for the British Comedy Awards Best Live show.
He is a regular contributor to Alan Moore's Dodgem Logic magazine, New Statesman and as well as The Times, Telegraph, The Independent, Eureka Science Magazine, Reader's Digest and many more.
His regular radio appearances have included The News Quiz, Just a Minute and Loose Ends as well as presenting documentaries:Schrodinger's Cat andVinyl Culture.
He has made many TV appearances on panel shows and Stand Up shows including The Review Show , The TV Book Club and many more.
His first book, Robin Ince's Bad Book Club was published by Little Brown in 2010 and his first feature film screenplay, Razzle Dazzle, was released in 2008. It opened the New York Children's Film Festival and was selected for the Berlin Film Festival.
His recent science tour Uncaged Monkeys with Brian Cox, Simon Singh and Ben Goldacre was a total sellout including two nights at Hammersmith Apollo.
